An Event Zero - Event Processing Network is made up of one or more Occurrence Nodes. Each functional node (with the exception of standby High Availability Units) is required under the terms of use to be licensed using one of the methods below.

Event Zero has several purchasing options, each of which is designed to be flexible enough to meet our customers' business needs. Customers can choose from Perpetual License with Maintenance, Software Subscription and a Hosted Service, each of which are detailed below.

Perpetual License	Event Zero supports the traditional Perpetual License and Maintenance method of licensing. Using this method, customers can purchase a product license and use it indefinitely. Adding yearly maintenance, entitles customers to receive software updates and support for the life of the maintenance contract.
Software Subscription	The Software Subscription option enables customers to make monthly or quarterly subscription payments. This also entitles customers to all product updates and support for the life of the subscription.
Hosted Service	In addition customers can choose to use the Event Zero Hosted Service. Using this option, there is no additional licensing or maintenance fees and customers are still entitled to full support.
